MFT and Shabby Tea Room Challenge

Hi all and thanks so much for stopping by! Today I am sharing a card I made with MFT'S Always Time for Tea Die-namics and Stamp Set. I used this week Shabby Tea Room Challenge for inspiration for my colors and shabby chic theme.

My teapot is cut with the dies in Always Time for Tea and layered on a doily cut with the larger of the two dies in the Dainty Doily Duo. My papers are Echo Park Victoria Gardens.

I used lace, added machine stitching and tied a ribbon around the card, added silver twine and a rhinestone button.

Here is the inspiration photo and and the colors you are challenged to use are silver, cream and/or white, and pink.

I used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar on the edges. Used some silver cardstock for the accents on the teapot.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the set and added a teacup cut with the Die-namic dies.

MFTWSC56 Happy 15th Birthday

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today. It's week 56 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!

So I needed a card for my 15 year old nephew! Male cards are hard, but teenage boy cards are even harder!! I even considered sending him a store bought card! But he knows I make cards for all my nieces so I decided just to go for it!

I kept the card pretty simple. I used papers from Echo Park It's a Boys Life and two different MFT Die-namics and Stamp Sets. My only embellishments are machine stitching and Bakers Twine in Stone.

I used the dies in By the Numbers Die-namics and Stamp Set to cut out the "15" in patterned paper and solid cardstock. The sentiment is also from this set.

Then I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics to cut out the cream circle, the navy scalloped circle and the banner Happy Birthday is stamped on.

Using By the Numbers Die-namics and Stamp Set again, I stamped two of the sentiment stamps and added the die cut 15.

MFT/Scor-Pal Blog Hop

Welcome to the MFT and Scor-Pal Blog Hop. Design Team Members from both teams are sharing projects today made with both company's products. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the complete list of designers.

For my project I made a criss cross card using my Scor-Pal, one of my go to tools for almost every project I make, and a couple of different widths of Scor-Pal tape. You can find all the instructions and a video on making this card in the resource section of Splitcoast Stampers.

Following the instructions I cut the base of my card, my pink matting, and patterned paper. My papers are from October Afternoon Sidewalks. I used 1/2 inch Scor-Pal tape to adhere by criss cross sections. I made a band to slide on the card, added some machine stitching, and tied a ribbon around the card.

My sweet image is MFT'S Pure Innocence Birthday Princess. She is colored with Copics, her dress is paper pieced, and I added glitter to her crown.

On the insert that goes inside my card, I used one the tabs in the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namic to add my tab with a sentiment from the set. I made a pocket to hold a gift card with 1/4" Scor-pal tape.

CPS Sketch Challenge #252

Hi Everyone! It has been a busy week for me, but I did get a little stamping in! Therapy, if you know what I mean. I worked a business conference all last week and my daughter Lisa left for an internship in Germany!

How about starting the week off with a fun sketch challenge! Taylored Expressions is sponsoring the CPS Sketch for this week.

I have been wanting to play with my new Rosey Posey Dies and stamp set and this sketch is perfect!

I stamped the roses for the Rosey Posey Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copics, and cut them out with the coordinating Rosey Posey Dies. I used the leaf die to cut out and emboss my leaves and then added a pearl to the center of the rose.

My papers are from October Afternoon Farmhouse. I also added ribbon and lace.

I layered my roses on two of Taylor's new doily dies, the small and medium Layering Doily. I love these new dies, especially the one with the little hearts.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set and added a border with the Large Scallop Border.

Seize the Cupcake

Hi All! I have a fun and simple birthday card to share with you today. I am using Taylored Expressions Build a Treat Stamp Set, a fun stamp set with endless options. and Build a Treat Tops and Bottoms Dies.

My papers are from October Sidewalks. I used two of the dies from Build a Treat Tops and Bottoms to cut out my cupcake bottom from patterned paper and my cupcake top that I stamped in brown ink. I added a rhinestone to the top of my cupcake.

I added a bingo card, machine stitching, Cupcake Doodle Twine, and a sweet sentiment from the stamp set.

For inspiration I used Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

My cupcake is adhered to a doily cut with the Layering Doily Small Die.

For my take on the sketch I am using MFT'S Who's That E-Girl. She is one of my first WTG stamps I feel in love with!

My coloring is done with Copics and her skirt and the couch are paper pieced. My papers are from Echo Park, Seasons. I added machine stitching, lace, and a wooden button tied with twine.

I used the Perfect Posies Die-namics for my flower. My flower has four layers and I added a pearl brad to the center.

This is one of the sentiments in the stamp set.

My first card uses Blowing Bubbles. She is colored with Copics and her shirt is paper pieced. My papers are from October Afternoon Sidewalks. I used the Wood Grain Fence Die-namics to cut my fence out of corrugated paper and sponged it with distress ink to give it a white wash look. I used the Fresh Cute Grass Die-namic for my grass that is cut out of MFT Favorite Felt in Sour Apple.

I then stamped one of the sentiments in the set and cut each word out to used on the outside and the inside of my card.

I used the rest of the words from the sentiment on the inside of the card and added another border of grass.

Next up is Violin Girl. My papers are from Crate Paper Heart. My border is cut with the new Monarch Border Die-namic that is included in the VIP Collection.

I added machine stitching and Bakers Twine in Pink Sorbet.

I used Jen Del Muro's Sketch For You to Try for January for inspiration.

She is colored with Copics and her dress in paper pieces.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the set and notes cut with the Musical Notes Die-namics.

Hi Everyone! I am here today with a fun Valentine/Love card to share with you that I made with the Taylored Expression stamp set Love Grows Here. I love all the sweet tree images in this stamp set! Perfect for so many occasions!

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. My grass is drawn in with Prism Colored Pencils.

For inspiration I used Jen del Muro's Sketch For You to Try for January. Great card layout, I will definitely be using it again! I added machine stitching, lace, and Ladybug Doodle Twine.

I added two clouds using TE Cloud Duo Dies and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tumbled Grass.

On the inside I stamped the tree image again and added a sentiment from the set.

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today. It's week 54 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!

For my take on the sketch I am using MFT'S Pure Innocence Stamp, Love You With All My Heart and papers from Echo Park Yours Truly. She is colored with Copics and her dress is paper pieced. I used a black glaze pen on her shoes. I thought black patent leather shoes were perfect with her dress!

I also added a button tied with Bakers Twine in Charcoal.

To create by little banner I used the post from the Mini Pennants Die-namics and the pennant is from the Mini Wavy Pennants Die-namics.

On the inside I stamped the image and a sentiment from the stamp set.

MFT'S January Creative Challenge

In 2012, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique.

This month's Creative Challenge will be to make a masculine card. I think many of us, including me, struggle when we know we need a male card.

When I want to make a masculine card I think about the stamp image and colors first. For this card I am using MFT's at the Movies Die-namic and Stamp Set and papers from My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday Everyday Fun 6 x 6 paper pad. Since I am going with a movie theme, I kept my colors kraft and black, with the idea of a black and white movie.

I used the a sentiment from the stamp set and the large film strip die. In the corner I added the film reel and a Tim Holz wheel embellishment.

I added another one of the dies and sentiments from the set in the corner, along with the arrow stamp. I added machine stitching and twine.

On the inside I added another sentiment from the stamp set and a film strip using the Mini Film Strip Die-namic.

Taylored Expressions January Release Day!

Hi All! Today is Release Day at Taylored Expressions! Another great release and great products for Valentine Day or any day you want to make someone feel special!

Today I am working with the new Dachshunds in Love, part of the Animals in Love Series, and the new Heart Favor Box die.

To create my card I used this month's Valentine Project Pantry Basic Recipe Kit. All my ingredients are from the kit except for the twine.

We're offering our Project Pantry Basic Recipe Kit along with additional Spice It Up Ingredients that you can pick and choose from to build the kit just the way you want it!

Valentine Basic Recipe Project Pantry Kit includes:

My puppies are colored with Copics and their sweaters are paper pierced. I added a button from the kit. My border is cut with the Large Scallop Border Die.

I created a quick and easy, but oh so cute tag, using the Totally Tags Valentine Stamp Set and the Totally Tags Dies. I tied it to my favor box with ribbon for the Project Pantry Kit.

Taylored Expressions January Release Day 3

I have a couple of projects to share with you today. First up is Totally Tags Valentine, a new set of tags to coordinate with the Totally Tags Dies…great for all sorts of cards and treats for Valentine’s Day and beyond! This is a full-sized set that includes 9 large tag images.

I love tags! They can make the simplest of gifts special!

I made four different tags. I used the Take Note Frame 3 as the base of all the tags. My papers are Echo Park Yours Truly. This tag uses the new Layering Doily Small, one of the hearts in Hearts a Plenty, one of the Totally Tags Dies.

I added We R Memory Keepers Large Eyelet to the top of tag and added Doodlebug Twine to tie the tag on a gift.

This tag uses the Layering Doily Medium Die. I added rhinestones and crackle paint to the hearts.

I sponged Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in Black Soot on the edges of the tag.

Next I used the Owls in the Animals in Love A la Carte series and the new Heart Favor Box die for a cute, little Valentines gift.

MFT January Product Tour!!

I am showcasing the new Monogram Alphabet. When I was Christmas shopping I kept seeing beautiful monogram card sets. When I saw this stamp set I knew I wanted to make a set for myself.

I think a card set like this makes a great gift. I wanted to keep my cards pretty simple and have them coordinate together but yet be slightly different from each other.

All my card have a black card base and a pink mat. My papers are from Echo Park Truly Yours. My monogram stamp is mounted on pink cardstock and then on a doily cut with the small die in the Dizzy Doily Duo.

My embellishments are lace and roses.

I did add a little machine stitching to each card.

I made each layout slight different.

And in a fairly short period of time I had a great set of card!

Taylored Expressions January Release Day 2

It is Day 2 of Taylored Expressions January Release sneak peeks and today I am sharing card made with the cute, new stamp set, Love Shack.

Love Shack is the first in a series concepted by Jami Sibley of adorable abodes illustrated by Doug Applegate. The variety of fun sentiments makes this little shack versatile for so many occasions. Think cards, gifts, calendars, scrapbook pages. It is a mini Set with 9 images/sentiments.

My image is colored with Copics. I used the a number of TE dies, the Grass Border, Tiny Toppers, and the Cloud Duo. My tree is paper pieced and I added a rhinestone to the door knob.

I also added machine stitching and Limeade Doodle Twine. My papers are We R Memory Keepers 6x6 Pad - Love Struck.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the set and added another cloud.

MFT's January Pre-Release Pep Rally!

Hi Everyone! Today is the final day of MFT's December Teasers! I hope you join us tonight for the release party in the MFT Forum at SCS.

Today we are focusing on new Die-namics and all the different ways to use them! You can stop byKim's blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.

Today I am sharing a Thank You Gift Set I made with the cute, new PI, Berry Sweet, the new Berry Box Die-namics, and a small kraft bag.

She is colored with Copics, I paper pieced her dress and added red rhinestones to her shoes. I used the smaller doily in the Oval Decorative Doily Duo to stamp my sentiment on. My papers are October Afternoon Sidewalks. I used Bakers Twine in Maraschino Red and a heart button. My border is cut with the Wonky Scallop Border Die-namics.

Next up I made a little bag to hold my strawberries. I just used a small, kraft bag, cut off the top and cover the front with patterned paper. I used the Hearts A Plenty Die-namic to cut my felt heart in MFT Felt in Cherry on Top and my small heart in patterned paper. My sentiment is from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set.

Here is a close up of the Berry Box. The box is large enough to hold a couple of small candies, or in my case a Hersey's Kiss.

Taylored Expressions January Release Day 1!

I am starting the New Year off today with sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions January Release. I am showcasing the new Rose Wreath.

The Rose Wreath is the newest addition to the seasonal wreath series that was originally concepted by Jami Sibley. Like all the wreaths in the collection, it coordinates with the Seasonal Wreath Taylored Die and the Basic Bow Taylored Die. It is a petite set that includes 5 images/sentiments.

To accent my card I used the TE Medium Scallop Die, added machine stitching, Cupcake Doodle Twine and a button. My papers are from October Afternoon Sidewalks.

My wreath is colored with Copics and mounted on one the beautiful new dies Taylor is releasing this month, the Layering Doily Medium die. Just love how it cut those little hearts! For my sentiment I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set and the leaves. Then I stamped the small rose with is part of stamp set, colored it, cut it out, and popped it up on a dimensional dot.

MFT January Teasers Day 6

I think Dip Me in Chocolate is such a cute image!! Perfect for many of my friends too! I colored her with Copics and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen. Behind the image I added a doily cut with the High Tea Doily Die-namic. My fun border is cut with the new Jumbo Monarch Border Die-namic.

I added brown gel pen to the chocolate.

I used the Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namic, add a rhinestone to the center, and added it to my crinkled ribbon bow.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set and added another Monarch Border.

MFT January Teasers Day 4

Happy New Years Eve! Hard to believe it is already the last day of 2011. On the 4th day of MFT's January Teasers we are sharing projects with two new stamp and Die-namics set, At the Movies and Monogram Alphabet. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.

I am using At the Movies Die-namics and Stamp Set to make a gift set that includes a card and coordinating tin to hold a gift card.

I used the large film strip die and stamped Happy Birthday and two rows of stars. I cut a film reel and adhered it to a cream cardstock circle. Then I added some machine stitching and rhinestone flourishes.

I used a gold glitter pen to fill in the lights on "Birthday".

On the inside I used the film strip die again and added a ticket.

Next I altered a tin that is the perfect size for a movie gift card. My flower is made with the new Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namic that I cut in MFT Cherry on Top Felt. This flower die is fast becoming one of my favorites. It is a great size for cards and is so easy to put together.

I also added a movie ticket and a camera.

I added a couple more images from the set to the inside of my tin.

MFT January Teasers Day 3

Hi Everyone! I am back today with another MFT January Teaser. Today the Design Team is sharing projects with two new sentiment sets, Clearly Sentimental About Romance and and Pearls of Wisdom. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.

I used the Clearly Sentiment Label Die-manic, cut it out twice, once in white and once in the patterned paper. I cut a strip of the label to attach to bottom and stamped the sentiment in red ink.

I used the new Layered Hearts Die-namic to cut the hearts behind the sentiment and added a pretty brad. My papers are from Echo Park Yours Truly. I also added machine stitching and ribbon.

On the inside I just added a heart and left it blank. I think this sentiment could work for many different occasions, Valentine's Day, Wedding Anniversary, or maybe just a note to someone special.

MFT January Teasers Day 2

Hi all! Today is day 2 of MFT Teaser Time. Today we are sharing projects with the new stamp set Bunch of Hearts Flopsey. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.

Flopsey is a cute, little guy! He is colored with Copics. My papers are from My Mind's Eye, Love Me. I stamped hearts for the stamp set on twill and added Maraschino Red Baker's Twine.

I used a sentiment from the set and stamped it on one of the new Mini Wavy Pennants Die-namics. My flag pole is cut with the die from the previously released Mini Pennants Die-namics.

On the inside of the card I added another sentiment from the stamp set on hearts cut with the new Layered Heart Die-namic.

MFT'S January Teasers Day 1

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Today begins sneak peeks for January for My Favorite Things. We begin with the new Who's That Girl stamp set, Who's that Parisian Girl? You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.

She is colored with Copic and the edges for my paper are sponged with distress ink. My papers are My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Rosy. My border is cut with the Simply Scallop Large Die-namic. I stamped one the embellishment stamps from the set in black ink on twill ribbon. I finished the card off with Bakers Twine in Maraschino Red.

I used the new Eiffel Tower Die-namic which I think is a really fun embellishment.

On the inside I used the Eiffel Tower Die and topped it with a pennant with a sentiment from the set cut with the new Mini Wavy Pennants Die-namics.

One Last Christmas Card!

It's Friday, two days before Christmas!! I went to Costco and the grocery store today so I think I am ready! And I made one last Christmas card for a special gift.

For inspiration I used this week's Challenge over that the Shabby Tea Room, 'A Kraft-y Christmas'. The challenge is to use kraft, red, silver, newsprint and star. I love the red and kraft together! My papers are October Afternoon, Holiday Style. I love the Christmas newsprint.

I created by wreath using Taylored Expressions Snowflake Wreath, Seasonal Wreath Die, and the Basic Bow Die. I added Taylor's Crystal Twinkles to the wreath and mounted it on a small kraft envelope.

I added silver twine and silver jingle bells along with a star stick pin.

When you pull the tag out of the envelope it looks like this. I used a sentiment and stamp from the Wreaths of Joy stamp set.

Dream Big MFTWSC51

For this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club # 51 I am using on of my very favorite à la modes - Dream Big.

She is colored with Copics and her PJ shorts are paper pieced. My papers are from My Mind's Eye Sunshine. I stamped my sentiment on one of the tabs cut with the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namic.

My scalloped border is cut with the Simply Scallops Large Die-namic out of MFT Favorite Felt in Black. I also did some machine stitching and added a gold star to the corner.

I added Stickles to the moon for some shine and a little paper clip at the top.

The first stamp I am working with is Jump for Joy. She is colored with Copics and the grass is drawn in with Prism Colored Pencil. My papers are from October Afternoon Sidewalks.

Her dress is paper pieced. The sun is cut with the Sunshine Die-namic and the fence with the Woodgrain Fence Die-namic. I added part of sentiment to the front of my card.

Here is a close up of the Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namic that is included in the VIP Collection. It is so easy to work with! I sponged the edges with red distressing ink.

On the inside I stamped the rest of sentiment.

Next up is the Plane Amazing Stamp Set. I think she is so cute! She is colored with Copics and I added a little glitter pen to her glasses. I stamped the sentiment on the Oval Tab Die-namic and attached it with decorative brads.

I used the Rolled Scallop Die-namic die again and added a rhinestone to the center. Lace and stitching finish off my card. The papers are from Teresa Collins.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the set and added a plane cut with the one of the dies in the You Move Me Die-manic die set.

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by today!! I have a wintery card to share with you that is created around one of Taylored Expression great wreath designs. I just love the wreath series! Taylor has wreaths that work throughout the year and they can all be cut out with the same Seasonal Wreath Die!

This wreath is the Snowflake Wreath and I added a bow cut with the Basic Bow Die. The sentiment is included in the stamp stet. My papers are from Echo Park Winter Park. I also added lace and Doodle Bug Twine in Bubble Blue.

For inspiration I used Jen's The Deconstructed Sketch No. 30.

I added rhinestones to the center of the snowflakes and the bow and sponged ink on the edges of the wreath.

MFT's December Creative Challenge

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, "It's a Wrap" Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative gift solutions for you today!

Sometimes it is just of fun to have a special box to put a gift in! I made a little box, that is so quick and easy to put together, and topped it with ribbon and a cute tag!

To make my box I cut a piece of patterned paper into a 9" x 9" square. I scored in each direction at 3" and 6" and cut along four of the score lines, stopping at the horizontal score lines as shown. I applied adhesive to the corners, and folded the flaps up at the score line to create a small box.

To make the lid I cut another piece of patterned into a 5 7/8" x 5 7/8 inch square. Then scored in each direction at 1 3/8" by 4 1/2". Cut four of the score line like you did for the box.

This is what the box looks like when it is put together. I added a border to the top of my box using the Small Scalloped Border Die.

I created by tag using the Tag You're Die-namic and the Christmas Ornaments Die-namic and Stamp Set.

I cut the tag out twice in two different patterned papers and cut the top off the berry patterned paper. I die cut one of the ornaments from the set and used a stamp for the set for the star in the center. It is mounted on a doily cut with the smaller die in the Dainty Doily Duo. Then I used the dies to add a little tag and holly leaves. I used Bakers Twine in Maraschino Red to hang my ornament and to tie it onto my little package.

I cut out my tag again in white cardstock and adhered it to the back of tag, and stamped "To:" and "From:" and a snowflake from the stamp set.

MFT December New Product Tour

I am showcasing Always Time for Tea Die-namics and Stamp Set. This set is a large stamp set with so many possibilities!!

First I die cut the teapot in patterned paper and need added the other parts to the teapot. Then I stamped the fun flower, the center, and added a rhinestone.

I stamped the sentiment on the Bracket Tab Die-namic and added a little tea cup using elements for the new stamp set. Then I added lace threaded with Baker's Twine.

I mounted the teapot on the Open Oval Scallop Doily Die-namics.

To go along with my card I altered a tea tin. I covered the tin with papers from Afternoon October Sidewalks and added lace to the bottom of the tin.

I created a tag using the Tag, You're It Die-namic and added another cute teapot.

On the top of my tin I added a rose using the Large Rolled Rose Die-namic and MFT Favorite Felt in Strawberry Ice Cream. Then I added a few leaves from a silk flower.

MFT's December Teasers Day 7

Hi Everyone! Today is the final day of MFT's December Teasers! I hope you join us tonight for the release party in the MFT Forum at SCS.

Today we are focusing on new Die-namics and all the different ways to use them! You can stop byKim's blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.

I am using a new snowman called Frosty & Fabulous along with the new Mix and Match Banner Die-namic.

The Mix and Match Banner has four different dies, but I am just using three of the them. I used a sentiment from the across two of the banners and cut a heart using the Hearts A Plenty Die-namic. Then I add little buttons with glue dots.

I colored my snowman with Copics, add red stickles to his scarf, and black gel pen to his buttons. My border is cuts with the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namic and the falling snow is done with a Viva Paper Pen in Opal. I also used Baker's Twine Maraschino Red.

My papers are from Echo Park Winter Park.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the set.

I am using Heart Warmer for my card. My paper are from Echo Park Winter Park. I stamped the first part of my sentiment on a tab cut with the new Mini Tab Foursome Die-namic. I used the Jumbo Rick Rack Die-namic to cut my border and my snowflake is cut with the Snowflake Trio Die-namic. I used Baker's Twine in Maraschino Red.

He is colored with Copics and I added Martha Steward Red Fun Flock to the hat. I also sprinkled a little Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter on the Snow.

I stamped another sentiment from the set on the inside and added another snowflake.

MFT's December Teaser Day 5

Hi all and welcome to Day 5 of MFT's December Teasers! Today we are sharing projects with two new à la modes - SKi Bunny and Hot Cocoa Cutie. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

This sweet image is call Hot Cocoa Cutie. I thought she would be prefect for little gift of hot cocoa. I had picked up a few packages of Starbucks Hot Cocoa. I used a small kraft bag and covered it with papers from October Afternoon. I stamped a sentiment from the set on a tab cut with the Bracket Tab Die-Namic.

I used the Tag You're It Die-namic to create my tag. She is colored with Copics and her Cocoa cup is paper pieced. I used a Viva Pearl Pen in Cream on the marshmellows.

I created the flower using the new Fringed Perennial Die-namic and cardstock. I added a rhinestone to the center of the flower. I used a glue gun to attach the flower to a small clothespin.

MFT'S December Teasers Day 4

Hi all and welcome to Day 4 of MFT's December Teasers! Today we are sharing projects with ALL-STAR and Always Time for Tea, both of which are Die-namics and Stamp Set Combos. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

I am using the ALL-STAR Die-namics and Stamp Set. This set is perfect for adults and kids and perfect all those sport scrapbook pages! This is a team picture of my daughter Lisa and her softball team when she was in the second grade.

To make my title I used the new By the Letters Die-namics to spell out "play ball". In the corner I added an embellishment that I made using two of the stamps in the set. My red border is cut with the Scalloped Scallops Die-namic.

Next I used the baseball die and stamped the red stitched. I stamped and cut out the baseball bat and hand drew in my dotted line.

I added a card for journaling, stamping stars at the bottom with a small star included in the stamp set.

I used the banner die from the set and stamped one of the great sentiments and adhered over the picture of Lisa.

And in case you are wondering if it ever too late to start scrapbooking, this is a picture of my daughter Lisa with her boyfriend that I took last weekend!!

Hi all and welcome to Day 3 of MFT's December Teasers! Today we are sharing projects with Clearly Sentimental About Christmas and Pearls of Wisdom. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

Today I am using one of the sentiments from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas in combination with the new By the Letters Die-namics.

I used the "Peace, Love, Joy" sentiment but I did not stamp "Joy". I cut my letters out twice, once in the patterned paper and once in a dark grey. I also added Baker's Twine in Maraschino Red.

I love the new Skyline Border Die-namic! I cut it out in red and then added a strip of patterned paper. My papers are from October Afternoon Holiday Style.

On the inside I added a journaling card from October Afternoon and another sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas.

I have two project to share with you today using two of the new Petite Stamp Sets!

First up I am using the new Apple Wreath, which coordinates with the Seasonal Wreath Die. The Apple Wreath is a set of 5 stamps for $7.95. I love all the wreath stamp sets and I love how the same die cuts out all the different wreaths. All the wreaths are illustrated by Nancy McKinney and the series was originally was concepted by Jami Sibley.

My wreath is colored with Copics and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used the Pickett Fence Border Die, ribbon, Doodle Bug Twine in Bettle Black, and attached an apple tag I created with a stamp included in the set.

I added one the sentiments included in the stamp set. My papers are from October Afternoon Sidewalks.

On the inside I left room to write a note and stamped and colored three little apples.

For my next card I used the Sky's the Limit stamp set and coordinating die. This stamp set is part of the Embracing Grace Line by Emily Burger. Sky's the Limit coordinates with Taylored Dies and comes in a set of 9 rubber images and 3 dies.

I used the October Afternoon Sidewalks for this card too. I hand cut my hill, added Doodlebug Twine in Ladybug and stamped a sentiment from the set.

First I stamped my red balloon and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the smaller directed onto my patterned paper and paper pieced the balloon. I colored the sun and used a circle punch to cut it out and adhered it to my card with a dimensional dot. And lastly I added Viva Pearl Pen in red. I LOVE these pens. I want to get them in every color!

On the inside I added another hill and air balloon!

I am using Inspired by Flowers for my card. My flower is colored with Copics and I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink around the edges. My papers are by Basic Grey Little Black Dress.

I added rhinestones to the center of my flower, lace, twine, a button and a sentiment from the stamp set.

Today I am sharing sneak peeks of the new Fly Your Flag 2 Stamp and Die Set. There are three new Fly Your Flag stamp and coordinating dies sets being released on Thursday. The sets are an unique take on pennants! They fold together and string along a piece of baker’s twine or you can cut them in half and create a banner…lots of ways to fly your flag! The coordinates with the previously released You’re My Type Upper and Lower alpha sets.

Taylored Card Kits

There are also four new card kits being released. My card uses the Basic Grey Indie Bloom Card Kit. Each kit includes: 10 solid colored cardstock card bases,10 neutral cardstock image panels, envelopes, patterned paper, ribbon, KaiserCraft rhinestones or pearls - all packaged in a Petite Storage Case. Kits are $14.95 each.

I stamped each banner in a different color ink to coordinate with the paper. Then I used

You’re My Type Upper and Lower alpha sets in the middle of the banner. The banner is strung on Doodlebug Twine in Bubblegum. I used the Cloud Border at the top of my card, added some machine stitching and birds from the Bird and Branch Die set.

MFT'S December Teasers Day 1

Thanks for stopping by today! Today is the first day of MFT'S December Teasers! We are previewing Who's That Girl May I Have This Dance. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

I think this WTG stamp set is so pretty. I wanted to give my card a masculine feel so I could give it to my husband. I just love the sentiment!

The image is colored with Copics and the papers are from Basic Grey Little Black Dress. I used the new Skyline Border Die-namic, just seemed perfect with the stamp! The sentiment is stamped on a tab cut with the Bracket Tab Die-namic.

My heart is cut with the Hearts A Plenty Die-namic out of MFT Favorite Felt in Cherry On Top.

Her dress is paper pieced and I added Black Glaze Pen to the buttons on the jacket.

On the inside I used the Skyline Border Die-namic again and another sentiment for the stamp set.

I am using Moka Nora, designed by Nancy McKinney in combination with the CD calendar case plus pre-printed calendar insert set.

There are more than enough adorable images in the Moka collection to create all sorts of calendar projects. We're adding two more this month.

I colored Nora with Copics, added white fun flock to the trim and used the Viva Paper Pen in Opal for her buttons. My papers are from Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas.

To my calendar I added holly leaves, and sentiment, and the little envelope that are included in the Moka Nora stamp set.

I love the idea behind the CD Desktop Calendar Set! They are similar to the CD style calendars you've seen in the past, but these cases allow more room for both the calendar and your stamped artwork. Purchase includes one case and one set of 12 pre-printed calendar pages for $5.95. Case size is 4.37" x 7.52" x 0.32" and the insert size is 4.21" x 7.24"The calendar comes with the CD case/calendar holder and the 12 pre-printed calendar cards!! I can wait to create a new page each month to set on my desk!!
