Yappy Birthday to You

Hi! I have been working on birthday cards this month. They seem to go out the fastest and I can never have too many in my stash. This card is created with the Gus & Gertie Stamp Set from Taylored Expressions. When it come to critters this is one of favorites!

The images from the stamp set are stamped in Oreo Ink, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the Gus & Gertie Dies. I cut a circle of Sugar Cube Cardstock with the Stitched Circle Stacklet. I added clouds to be background with the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil Strips and Gumball Ink. I used the Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets to mat the circle of clouds with Cherry Pop Cardstock.

The background is created with the Puppy Love Layered Stencil. This is a set of two layering stencils. The sentiment is from the Simple Strips - Woof Stamp Set and die cut with the Simple Strips - Well Rounded Die. For a little extra detail I added the machine zig zag stitch.

Have a great day and thanks for taking a look!

A Friend Birthday Card with Pretty Pink Posh

I am popping in today with a birthday card I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh.  I've had this card ready to share but have been waiting until the products were back in stock!

Let's start with the background for my card. I used the Layered Leaves & Flowers Stencils - See links below. This is a set of three stencils that you layer on on top of each other.  I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock for the card front and brushing on a light coat of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Next I stenciled the leaves, then the berries, and my last step was to use white embossing paste for the flowers.

I die cut one of three dies in Stitched Leafy Borders Dies to add at the bottom along with the small white border with the Stitched Strips Dies. The sentiments are from the new Simple Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the Simple Strips Dies. The frame is die cut with the Nature Essentials Dies. All back in stock here! I finished off the card by adding Flamingo Pink Jewels to the center of the flowers.

You can see how the stencil fits perfectly around the snowmen.

I die cut two sentiment strips with the die included in the kit from Cherry Pop and Peapod Cardstock. Then I stamped two of the sentiments from the sentiment stamp set in Versamark Ink, embossed with TE White Embossing, and added the strips to the card front. I used foam tape to attached the two snowmen heads and finished off with two White Rhinestones.

On my second card I stamped the Frosty Background Stamp on Toffee Card Stock in Sugar Cube Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. Then I stenciled the snowflakes with the Frosty Stencil, my TE Blender Brushes, and Confetti Cake Ink.

Then I created the three snowmen and added them to a circle stenciled with the Frosty Stencil and I added a hill of snow with the Build A Scene - Rolling Hills Die.

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club for July

Hi Friends! Today I have two projects to share I created with a new die from the Spellbinders Large Die Club for June. This month's Does Your Garden Grow Alphabet Set is perfect for making cards, decor, and scrapbook pages. Each kit will feature project ideas with at least one detailed how-to instruction tutorial each month.

This month's die set includes the whole alphabet and the these cute flowers and stems. First up is my card. I created the background by cutting a piece of white Cardstock and stenciling clouds and grass with Distress Inks. I die cut the letters for HELLO twice, once from a lightweight chipboard and once from cardstock, and then glued the cardstock over the chipboard.  This just gives the letters a little more dimension.

Next I created the flowers and attached them to the letters. I added Carribean Blue Jewels to each flower. I added a sentiment below the flowers. I stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I also added some machine stitching.

Next is a 6 x 8 scrapbook page. Since I have been home more lately I decided to work on a few albums and I like the ideas of the smaller pages. The Does Your Garden Grow Alphabet Set is perfect for scrapbook!

At the top I added one of the flowers. The papers are from Pinkfresh Studio - Let's Stay Home Collection - 12 x 12 Collection Paper Pack.

I added the word love at the bottom of the page with more flowers and stems.

Thanks for stopping by. You can find all the on the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club HERE

Sunshine and Rainbows

Hi! I am back today with a couple more projects I created with the new Rainbow Release from Taylored Expressions. It is such a happy release! You can find all the new products here.

Today I am giving you a closer look at the Brighter Skies Stamp Set. ( All the products are linked below) I love this sentiment! I created the card front in a few stamp. First I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. Then I cut the Rainbow Die directly in the card front and set the die cuts aside. Next I stenciled with the Splash Stencil and Salt Water Taffy Ink.

I inked the four rainbow die cuts in Guava, Candy Corn, Potato Chip, and Lime Zest Ink and placed the die cuts back into the card front and secured them with tape on the back.

The clouds are cut with the Rainbow Clouds Duo and I inked the edges with Salt Water Taffy Ink. I stamped the sentiment twice, once on the card and once on one of the clouds, layering the cloud over the card front. I colored the boots with Copic Marker and added a few Drip Drops.

Here are couple of tags I created with the Tag Stacklets 2.

I used the Splash Stencil for the background and the sentiments are a combination of the sentiments in the Brighter Skies Stamp Set and the Building Blocks-Be Bright Stamp Set.

This background is created with the Heart to Heart Stamp Set and Cupcake Ink.

New Rainbow Release from Taylored Expressions!

Hi All! I have some newly released rainbow themed products to share with you from Taylored Expressions. Some of products were originally in the TE Over the Rainbow Kit and can now be purchased separately! And there are also some brand new products in the store. All the new products  are available NOW in the TE Store. I have two projects to share and all the links to the new products are listed below.

To create this card I die cut the Over the Rainbow Die directly into Sugar Cube Cardstock. I inked the four rainbow die cuts in Confetti Carke, Mint Julep, Fruit Punch, and Potato Chip Ink and inlayed them back into the Sugar Cube Cardstock.

I added the sentiment with the Over the Rainbow Sentiments and the black dots with the Over the Rainbow Stamp Set. The heart is cut from Fruit Punch Cardstock.

The background is stamped with the Rainbow Waves Background. I added the clouds at the bottom of the rainbow with the new Rainbow Cloud Duo. The "Hugs" sentiment is included in the new Building Blocks - Be Bright Stamp Set and die cut with the Building Blocks Die.

My second card features the new Brighter Skies Stamp Set and the Brighter Skies Die. There are four stamps in the stamp set and on this card I used the rainbow. I stamped in Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I stenciled the background with the Here Comes the Sun Stencil and cut a circle in the card front with the Stitched Circle Stacklets. Behind the circle I added foam tape and then added the cut circle back into the card front.

I added a few clouds inside and outside the circle with the Rainbow Cloud Duo and added a few Bits & Pieces - White Rhinestones.

The sentiment are all included in the new Building Blocks - Be Bright Stamp Set and die cut with the Building Blocks Die. The hill is die cut with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills Die and inked with Granny Smith and Lime Zest Ink.
