A Happy Hello with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi and thanks for stopping by today! The weather is so pretty in San Diego today. Definitely lifts the spirit! I have a card with a yellow and black color scheme to share that I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh. I have been trying to mix up my color combos.

These pretty flowers are from the Wild Rose Stamp Set, and one of my favorite PPP florals. I stamped the flowers and leaves  in Versamark Ink on watercolor paper and then embossed with white embossing powder. I watercolored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used the Wild Rose Coordinating Dies to die cut.  See links below

The sentiment is die cut from black Cardstock with the Hello Friend Script Die. I cut a rectangular panel for the center of the card and placed the flowers and leaves over and under the panel. I finished off the card with PPP Pearl White Jewels.

Have a great day and thanks for taking a look!

Amazing Father

Hi! I have another card to share today from the new Taylored Expressions Father's Day and Dog Lovers Release. You can find all the new products HERE. My card today is perfect for Father's Day.

I went with a simple color scheme of Toffee, Blue Corn, and Buttercream and a touch of gold embossing. All the products I used to create this card are linked below.

This background is stenciled with the new Plaid Layered Stencil. This is a set of two stencils and I think the possibilities are endless. I cut a piece of Toffee Cardstock to fit the card front and then stenciled the pattern with my TE Blender Brushes and Toffee and Blue Corn Ink.

The sentiment is from the new Brushstrokes Basics Stamp Set and I used the Sentiment Stacker 2 to die cut and frame the sentiment. "Father" is from the new Building Blocks - Him Stamp Set and die cut with the Building Block Die. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

Here is the inside of the card. I stamped one of the great sentiments in the new Inside Scoop - For Him Stamp Set. This sentiment is just perfect for my husband who is a father to four strong women! This a great sentiment set!

You're an Amazing Friend!

Hi! I have really been trying to send out more of my cards. I miss my friends so much and want them to know it! Today a card to share I just sent to a friends with some perfect products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I love this sweet hedgehog from the Hedgehog Friends Stamp Set. I stamped the Hedgehog, the flowers, and foliage in black ink  I colored with Copic Markers, and then die cut with the Hedgehog Friends Coordinating Dies. (you can all the links below)

I decided to go with a gingham background that I stenciled with the Wide Stripes Stencil. I used the stencil vertically and then turned it horizontally. This is a nice way to get more use out of you stripped stencils.

Next I die cut the Hugs Shaker Die twice, once directly into the card front, and once from a pale aqua Cardstock, that I inlayed back into the front die cut. I added the stamped images around the circle and along with a sentiment from the Hedgehog Friends Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I finished off the card with a few Sparkling Clear Jewels.

Thanks for taking a look!

New Father's Day and Pet Themed Products Releasing from Taylored Expressions

Hi All! I will be popping in over the next few days to share new release products from Taylored Expressions. We have new products for you favorite pet lovers and all the men in your life! All the new products will be available tomorrow, May 19th at 9 AM CST in the TE Store.

Today I am showcasing the new Treetops Background Stamps, In the Treetops Edger and Swing Dies, the new Swinging By Stamp Set and coordinating Swinging By Dies

I started by stamping the Treetops Background Stamp in Oreo Ink and colored with Copic Markers. To add the texture to the tree I added a little Copic Blending Fluid to a piece of Terry cloth and dabbed the terry cloth over the Copics. I love the effect, just start out lightly so you don't remove too much of the color. Then I die cut the tree and the swing with the Treetops Edger and Swing Dies.

I stamped the colored the sweet owl from the Swinging By Stamp Set and die cut with Swinging By Dies.  I used a combination of foam, foam circles, and the On the Right Track Discs to allow the swing to move from right to left. You can watch a video on how the TE Foam Circles and On the Right Track Discs are used to create this interactive card HERE

I die cut the grass with the Build a Scene - Grassy Hills Die. In the center of the grass I stamped a sentiment from the new Swinging By Stamp Set in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. The butterflies are die cut with the Little Bits - Butterflies.

Here are the links to the products I used to create my card.
Stop by the TE Blog for all the details on the new products and inspiration from the rest of the Design Team. I will be back tomorrow with a look at more of the new goodies!

Thank My Lucky Stars

Hi Friends! I have been enjoying creating a few long card lately. Today I a long card to share that I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh. I used the Wild Rose Stamp Set as the focal point of my card. It is one of my favorite PPP flower stamp sets!

I stamped all the flowers and leaves in the Wild Rose Stamp Set and colored with Copic Markers. The flowers are die cut with the Wild Rose Coordinating Dies

To create the background I cut a piece of white cardstock for the front of the card. You can use a standard size business envelope to give or mail the card. I used the Triangles Stencil with light yellow ink and a blender brush to add the pattern.

The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Greetings Stamp Set and matted with the Scallop Circle Tags Dies die cut from black cardstock. I added Lemon Drop Jewels to the center of the flowers and a few more scattered around.

Thanks for stopping by today. Maybe I have inspired you give a long card a try!

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to share the new Somewhere Over the Rainbow Kit from the Taylored Expressions. The kit is so fun and happy! There will be no subscription required with the TE Kit, but quantities are limited.

Here a look at what is included in the kit. I love the variety of products! The kit includes a 6 x 6 Designer Masking Rainbow Stencil, a rainbow die, a cloud die, two clear stamp sets, 6 envelopes with rainbow seals and it all comes packaged in a cute zippered pouch with a coordinating vinyl sticker on the front. Pouches can be used to store all kit pieces together and reused for lots of crafty or household projects.

I have three cards I created with the kit to share with you for inspiration. For my first card I cut a piece of Sugar Cube Cardstock for the card front and blended Confetti Cake on the background. Next I stamped the hearts with Blue Raspberry, Watermelon, Lemon Meringue, and Lime Zest Ink.

I die cut the rainbow directly into the card front. I added foam tape to the back of rainbows and inlayed them back into the card front. I die cut two of the stitched clouds and stamped a sentiment and a heart.

You can used other item in our stash in combination with the supplies in the kit. I used the Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 to frame the card and and added a few rhinestones from the Bits and Pieces - White Rhinestone.

On my second card I used a more pastel color scheme of Guava, Potato Chip, Peaches n' Cream, and Candy Corn Ink. I love the fun detail stamps you can add to the rainbows. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I added gold stars to clouds.

The sentiments are both included in the kit and I used a foam dot to attached the heart to the center of rainbow.

My third card is created with the stencil that is included in the kit. I cut a piece of Salt Water Taffy Cardstock for the card front and used Watermelon, Lemon Meringue, Lime Zest and Jelly Donut Ink.

I love the rainbow shaped sentiments. I finished off the card with a few Snow Flurries Sequins.

Happy Father's Day

Hi All! It is Celebration Week at Pretty Pink PoshBe sure to visit the Celebrations section on the website for 15% these products until May 10th.

Today I am going to give you an idea for a Father's Day Card created with the Father's Day Stamp Set.

I chose a color combination of light grey, blue, and black for the card. I started by cutting a panel of pale grey cardstock to fit the card front. I wanted to add pattern to the background but wanted to keep the pattern subtle. A combination of pale grey ink and the Triangles Stencil worked perfectly.

I stamped the shirt in the Father's Day Stamp Set three times in black ink and then I colored with Copic Markers. I used T0, T1, T3, B91, B93, and B95. The shirts are die cut with the Father's Day Coordinating Dies

Next I cut the Father's Day Script Die twice from black cardstock. I layered the die cuts on top of each other to give the sentiment a little more dimension. I also cut a strip of white cardstock to go across the card and blended the background with light blue ink. The tie on the shirt in the middle is paper pieced and I used a black gel pen to add the strips on the tie on the right. I used foam tape to adhere the shirts to the card.
