Mythical Grumplings on Leap Year Day!

Hi! I have a fun new stamp set and dies to share with you today, the Mythical Grumplings Stamp Set and Mythical Grumplings Dies. Since leap year only comes around occasionally Taylored Expressions is releasing this fun stamp set today! There are three Mythical Grumplings in the stamp set and I created two cards with two of the images.

My first card features the dragon stamp. I colored with Copic Markers and then used blending fluid and a piece of terry cloth to add texture to the skin.

I used the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil with TE Blender Brushes and Confetti Cake Ink to create the background. Next I cut a circle directly in the card front with the Stitched Circle Stacklets. To created the scalloped frame I used the Inside Scallop Circle Stacklets and the Stitched Circle Stacklets. I inlayed the frame into the card front and added TE Window Acetate behind the window.

Behind the acetate I dropped in the new Bits & Pieces - Sparkly Stars. I attached the dragon to the acetate and added clouds at the dragon's feet with the Stitched Cloud Duo. At the bottom I added a border of clouds with the Build a Scene - Rolling Clouds and stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in Confetti Ink.

On my second card I used the unicorn stamp from the Mythical Grumplings Stamp Set and die cut with the Mythical Grumplings Dies. I colored again with Copic Markers. To create the card front I die cut a star into the card front with the Star Stacklets. Then I die cut the Starry Night Cutting Plate into the card front to add the falling Stars. Behind the window I added TE Window Acetate, foam, some sparkle from the new Bits & Pieces - Rainbow Sprinkles, and a piece of Lollipop Cardstock.

At the bottom I added a strip of vellum stamped with one of the sentiments in the stamp set. I stamped the sentiment twice with my Misti, first in Oreo Ink and then in Versamark Ink. and then I embossed with TE Clear Embossing Powder. I finished off the card with a few Bits & Pieces - Drip Drops.

To create the scene I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock for the card front. I used brush strokes of Copic Markers to add the water in BG000, B000, B91, and B93. Above the water I blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. At the top I added the sentiment from the stamp set.

I colored the stamped images with Copic Markers and then die cut with the Pond Friends Coordinating Dies. I added the images to the card front using foam tape from the frogs and flowers to add some dimension.  I finished off the card with a few 4mm Clear Droplets.

This stamp and die set is designed to be used with previously released All is Bright Stamp Set and coordinating All is Bright Die.  The sentiments are sized to fit inside the All is Bright lantern, with flowers and greenery to accent the handle and base and make it perfect for spring.

Here is closer look at the flowers. My ink colors are listed below. I added Bits and Pieces - White Rhinestones to the center of the flowers. The lantern is matted with the Stitched Oval Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Oval Stacklets. I used the Herringbone Stencil with Potato Chip Ink and TE Blender Brushes to create the backgrounds.

My second card is easy to create and makes a beautiful simple statement. I used the new Church on a Hill Die Set to die cut the hill, trees, and church. The set includes a die to create the background fill for the windows which I cut from Potato Chip Cardstock. I used Toffee Cardstock for the door.

How cute is the new Bunny Hugs Die!! Quick and easy to create to create! The die set comes with two clear stamps to add the faces to the bunny, and dies to cut the ears and the heart. The pretty background is created with the new Spring Fling Layered Stencil. This is a set of three stencils that layer on top of each other. I cut a piece of Cupcake Cardstock for the the card front and used Lime Zest, Lollipop, and Cupcake Ink.

The ears are cut from Cherry Blossom Felt and the heart from Bubblegum. I added the flowers with the Mini Bloomers and Bloomers Greenery Dies. The sentiment is from the new Tag Team - Easter Clear Stamp Set. My next Easter treat set showcases the new All Tucked In - Easter Stamp Set. The set coordinates with the previously released All Tucked In Windows and the All Tucked In Dies.

Happy Birthday Balloon Shaker

Hi all! I am really working on making birthday cards again. Those cards are definitely given out the most and all my friends and family expect handmade now! My card today features the Balloon Shaker Die from Pretty Pink Posh.

I created the background first. I used the Pennant Stencil that is part of the Layered Birthday Stencils. This is a set of two stencils that can be used layered together or separately. Next I die cut the Balloon Shaker Die twice, once directly into the card front, and a second time from aqua cardstock. I added a piece of twine for the balloon string and then inlayed the die cut into the front of card and added clear acetate and foam behind the balloon window to foam the shaker.

I added a few more details with the smaller stamps in the Love Stamp Set. I colored the images with Copic Markers and die cut with the Love Coordinating Dies. Inside the shaker and scattered on the card front I used confetti from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! I have lots more to share this next week. Be sure to stop by and follow me on Instagram

Birthday Wishes!

Hi all! It has been a bit since I have posted! Things have been busy on the home front and just haven't been able to get much creative time in. I finally got a couple of hours this week to create this sweet birthday card with some new products from the Pretty Pink Posh Release.

I started by stamping the mice from the Party Friends Stamp Set. I colored with image with Copic Markers and die cut with the Party Friends Coordinating Dies. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front and blended Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, Wild Honey, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks to create the sky background. To create the grass I cut a border of white cardstock with the Scallop Borders Dies, colored the grass with Copic Markers, and added the texture with Copic Blending Fluid and a piece of terry cloth.

I framed the card front with the new Birthday Frame Die. I cut the frame from white card stock first to create the frame and then again from pink, green, and yellow cardstock so I could inlay the color in the frame. I finished off the card with a scattering of Pearl White Jewels

Thanks for stopping by! I will a few more projects to share this week!
