Easter Treats with the new Taylored Expressions Release

Hi Everyone! I am back today with ideas for Easter cards and treats with more of the new products just released by Taylored Expressions. You can find all the new products HERE.

How cute is the new Bunny Hugs Die!! Quick and easy to create to create! The die set comes with two clear stamps to add the faces to the bunny, and dies to cut the ears and the heart. I stamped the faces in Versamark Ink and embossed with black embossing powder. Then I stamped the nose in Cupcake Ink and added a little ink to the cheeks.

The pretty background is created with the new Spring Fling Layered Stencil. This is a set of three stencils that layer on top of each other. I cut a piece of Cupcake Cardstock for the the card front and used Lime Zest, Lollipop, and Cupcake Ink.

The ears are cut from Cherry Blossom Felt and the heart from Bubblegum. I added the flowers with the Mini Bloomers and Bloomers Greenery Dies. The sentiment is from the new Tag Team - Easter Clear Stamp Set. I added a heart from the Bits & Pieces - Have a Heart and a center to the flower with a jewel from the Bits & Pieces - White Rhinestones. All the products are linked below.

I die cut the tags with the Tag Stacklets 2 and the sentiment is included in the new Mini Strips - Easter Stamp Set, which coordinates with our original Mini Strips Die or the Mini Strips - Asymmetrical Die

My next Easter treat set showcases the new All Tucked In - Easter Stamp Set. The set coordinates with the previously released All Tucked In Windows and the All Tucked In Dies.

First I created my own background pattern. I used the new 1/2" Strip Stencil Set with Lavender Glaze Ink to added the stripes and then randomly stamped the small images in the All Tucked In - Easter Stamp Set. These sentiments are also part of the Mini Strips - Easter Stamp Set.

I added the adorable bunny faces with the Hop to It Background Cling & Clear Combo Set and die cut the bunnies with the  Hop to It Die. I added the borders with the Skinny Mini Spring Border Dies.

Here a closer look at the treat box that you can create with the All Tucked In Windows and the All Tucked In Dies.

My first card features the new Botanical Beauty Background and the Botanical Beauty Edger Die. The flowers are so pretty! On this card I colored with Copic Markers but I think it would look great with watercolors, sponged inks, and just embossed.

After I colored with my Copics I went back added a slight yellow background with Y0000. Then I used the Botanical Beauty Edger Die to die cut the edge of the stamped image, and again from Peapod cardstock to add the backing edge.

The sentiment if from the Simple Strips - Friendship Stamp Set, die cut with the Simple Strips Die, and backed with the new Simple Strips Backer Die.I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder.  I finished off the card with a few of the new Bits & Pieces - White Rhinestones.

Next up is a look at the new Spring Stems Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Spring Stems Dies. I started with creating the background by using the TE Blender Brushes with Lime Zest, Granny Smith, Potato Chip, Peaches n' Cream, and Guava Ink. When I done I lightly splattered watered down gold paint on the background. Then I used the same inks, along with  Jelly Donut and Confetti Cake, to stamp the flowers and leaves.

After I die cut the flowers and leaves I played around with the arrangement,  I attached the images to the background. The sentiment is from the new Simple Strips - Sympathy Stamp Set, and die cut with Simple Strips Die, and backed with the new Simple Strips Backer Die

Happy Birthday Balloon Shaker

Hi all! I am really working on making birthday cards again. Those cards are definitely given out the most and all my friends and family expect handmade now! My card today features the Balloon Shaker Die from Pretty Pink Posh.

I created the background first. I used the Pennant Stencil that is part of the Layered Birthday Stencils. This is a set of two stencils that can be used layered together or separately. Next I die cut the Balloon Shaker Die twice, once directly into the card front, and a second time from aqua cardstock. I added a piece of twine for the balloon string and then inlayed the die cut into the front of card and added clear acetate and foam behind the balloon window to foam the shaker.

I added a few more details with the smaller stamps in the Love Stamp Set. I colored the images with Copic Markers and die cut with the Love Coordinating Dies. Inside the shaker and scattered on the card front I used confetti from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! I have lots more to share this next week. Be sure to stop by and follow me on Instagram

Birthday Wishes!

Hi all! It has been a bit since I have posted! Things have been busy on the home front and just haven't been able to get much creative time in. I finally got a couple of hours this week to create this sweet birthday card with some new products from the Pretty Pink Posh Release.

I started by stamping the mice from the Party Friends Stamp Set. I colored with image with Copic Markers and die cut with the Party Friends Coordinating Dies. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front and blended Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, Wild Honey, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks to create the sky background. To create the grass I cut a border of white cardstock with the Scallop Borders Dies, colored the grass with Copic Markers, and added the texture with Copic Blending Fluid and a piece of terry cloth.

I framed the card front with the new Birthday Frame Die. I cut the frame from white card stock first to create the frame and then again from pink, green, and yellow cardstock so I could inlay the color in the frame. I finished off the card with a scattering of Pearl White Jewels

Thanks for stopping by! I will a few more projects to share this week!

Valentine Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh

Hi Everyone! I am sharing a card on the PPP Blog and on my own blog today for Day 6 of Valentine Theme Week! I have a Valentine card to share with you that was created with one of my daughters in mind. Even though my girls are not "kids" anymore, I still like to give them a card and a sweet treat for Valentine's Day! I used a combination of both newly and previously released products to create my card. I love the way all the stamp sets and dies work together.

Let's start with the background. I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front and then used the Wide Stripes Stencil with a light aqua ink to create the subtle background pattern. Next I die cut the Love Shaker Die from a red cardstock and attached the heart to the front of the card.

Around the heart I created this arrangement with the Love Stamp Set and the Love Coordinating Dies. The stamped images are colored with Copic Markers. I used foam squares to attach some the images. I like the dimension it adds. The sentiment is from the previously released Floral Hearts Stamp Set. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

At the bottom of the card I stamped one of the three borders in the Love Borders Stamp Set and added a sentiment from the Love Stamp Set

I finished off the card with a few Buttercream Jewels. I love adding just a little sparkle!
