Taylored Expressions November Release Sneak Peek Begin!

Happy Halloween! And welcome to the first day of Taylored Expressions November Release Sneak Peeks. All the new products will be available on November 3 at 7 AM PDT.

This month TE is featuring products designed for creating handmade gifts. Today the Creative Team is sharing ideas for calendars. We're introducing several new products for creating calendars. I am sharing ideas with the 3x4 2017 Calendar,  the Flowers for a Year Stamp Set, and the Build a Scene Calendar 2 Die for the months of July through December.

For each calendar I die cut the window frame, curtains, table, and butterflies with the Build a Scene Calendar 2 Die. I tried to pick colors that went with the theme of the month.

I chose one of the flowers from the Flowers for a Year Stamp Set that I thought went with month and stamped with Oreo Ink and colored with Copics.

I used the coordinating Flowers for a Year Dies to die cut each flower, and attached the flower to the calendar with a foam square.

The butterfly is a fun little detail that I added to each month.

I will be giving my calendar to one of daughters for her desk at work!

For December I add a little touch of gold by cutting the frame from a gold glittered card stock and I used a glitter pen to accent the pot.

There are variety of ways to display your calendar pages. Here I used an inexpensive frame, added cork to the middle of the frame, and attached a clip with a metal glue.

Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping by for the Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop. Come hop along with us for lots of inspiration and a chance to win TWO $100 prize packs! You should have come here from Isha Gupta's Blog.

This beautiful tree is created with the stamps in the Sketched Evergreen Stamp Set from Altenew. I layered three stamps, stamping the final layer in white pigment ink and embossing with white embossing powder. Then I masked off the tree and sponged the background with distress ink and splatter white paint.

Next I stamped images for the PPP Christmas Friends Stamp Set and coordinating Christmas Friends Coordinating Dies to create my scene, adding the boy and girl, and the birds. I used Copic Marker to color the images. I added the star to the top of the tree with the Stitched Stars Dies

I added a hill of snow with one of the the dies in the Scallop Borders Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Altenew Sketched Evergreen Stamp Set. The card is finished of with PPP Sparkling Clear Sequins in 6, 4, and 3 mm.

There are TWO $100 prize packs from Altenew and Pretty Pink Posh up for grabs. Winners will be picked randomly from the comments left on any of the blogs listed below. Holiday Gift Tags

Hi Everyone! Can you believe it almost the end of October! The holidays will be here before we know it! Today I have three holiday tags to share with you that I created with some new products from Taylored Expressions. I love making tags and I love having them ready to go ahead of time!

For the base of my tags I used the Tag Stacklets 2 and I added a large eyelet to the top of each tag. The patterned paper is from the new TE Playful Patterns Holiday Set Paper Pack.

On my first tag I used patterned paper from the new TE Playful Patterns Holiday Set Paper Pack and added a hill of snow with the Build a Scene Rolling Hills Dies. The tree border is die cut with the Skinny Mini Holiday Borders. I used the Joy Script Die to add the sentiment, and the Little Bits Holly Die and Ice Skates to finish off the tag.

I used non traditional colors for my second card! At the top I added a border with another die from the Skinny Mini Holiday Borders. The Ornamental Stamp Set and Dies are one of favorites from the October Release! The sentiment is also from the stamp set.

On my last tag I used very traditional colors! The background is embossed with the Plaid Embossing Folder and then I stamped branches from the Holiday Florals Stamp Set. I used the Holiday Florals Dies to cut the felt and added a little hand stitching to the leaves. I tucked in a few bells cut with the Little Bits - Jingle Bells Dies. The sentiment is included in the stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by! Here are the links to the products I used to create my tags:
