Sewing Mend the Soul

Hi Friends! Hope you are enjoying a nice weekend. I have two more projects to share from Taylored Expressions' April Release. And be sure to stop by on Monday! I will kicking off the week with sneak peeks of the TE May Release.

First up is a little gift for one of my niece's who will be going off to college in the fall. I filled the sweet jar with buttons, sewing needles, neutral colors of thread, and small pair of scissors.

The base of the tag is created with the Tag Stacklets 2. The white background is embossed with the Cross Stitch Embossing Folder. I used the Little Bits Sewing Machine to added the antique sewing machine and the Little Bits Buttons to add the little felt buttons. The sentiment is from the A Thousand Stitches Stamp Set.

Next up is a card with a gift card holder created with the Some Like It Hot Stamp Set and the Stacked Coffee Mugs Die. The white frame is cut with the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

May Your Cup Runneth Over

Hi Friends! I am back today with another card I created with new products from Taylored Expressions' April Release.

I love the sentiments in the Some Like It Hot Stamp Set. It is a great stamp set to have in your stash for whenever you create a coffee or tea themed card. I stamped the sentiment in white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

The background is embossed with the new Embossing Folder - Rosy Posey. The stack of cups is created with the new Stacked Teacups Die. The card is finished off with a few sequins and twine.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Friend is Worth a Thousand Stitches

Hello there! Hope you had a good weekend. I am counting down the days until my daughter's wedding so things are a little crazy around my house! I am starting off the week with a card I created with products from Taylored Expressions' April Release.

I have a soft spot for sewing themed products and I love the new Quilted Cutting Plate. The embossed stitching is such a great detail! To create the quilt pattern I cut papers from the Carta Bella 6 x 6 It's A Girl Paper Pad.

I love that I could add the sentiment to the center square. This sentiment is from the A Thousand Stitches Stamp Set. I used the new Little Bits Needle & Thread dies and some embroidery floss to create needle and thread embellishment. Doesn't that needle look real!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good week!
