MFT's May Teaser Day 1 - Wildflowers

Welcome to Day 1 of MFT's May Release! This month we are bringing you 11 new Stamp Sets, 12 new Die-namics, and a new Triple Scoop.

Today I have a card to share using the new Lisa Johnson Stamp Set, Peaceful Wildflowers, the coordinating Die-namics, Wildflowers along with a couple other new products.

Be sure to leave comments as you go! You can stop by the MFT Blog for all the release details, prize information ( it big, you want to check it out!) and more inspiration.

I started by creating a frame from corrugated paper, cutting it out once with a die in the Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX and then cutting the center with a die in the the Die-namics Rectangle STAX Set 1.

Behind the frame I used a piece of canvas. I sponged Sno Cone Ink onto the canvas and then stamped the pattern with a stamp by a new designer for MFT, our own Mona Pendleton! I admire Mona's work so much and have followed her blog for years. She definitely inspires me and I can't wait to work with the products she comes up with. Here I used the new MPD Distressed Background Blocks.

The grass is created with the Die-namics Grassy Edges and cut from Gumdrop Green Cardstock.

Here is look at the second new line of products being added to the MFT product line, Stencils! I used the new Mini Chicken Wire Stencil to create the pattern using a distress ink pad and a sponge.

I used MFT Card Stock in Black Licorice, Sno Cone and Whip Cream, and ribbon in Black Licorice.

Here is a closer look the pretty wildflowers, stamped in MFT Ink in Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop, Orange Fizz, and Gumdrop Green.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set.

MFT's April Rewind

Thanks for stopping by for MFT's April Rewind! We are using newly released products that are available NOW. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

For my first project I used the LJD Sweet Roses Stamp Set and the LJD Roses and Leaves Die-namics to create a set of tags.  I used the Tag, You’re It Die-namics for the base of all my tags.

Here I used the  LJD Roses and Leaves Die-namics and cut my flowers from MFT Felt in Grape Jelly and the Leaves in Sour Apple Card Stock. I added MFT Buttons in Lemon Drop and threaded with Hemp Cord

I stamped the arrows with a stamp from the LLD Border It - Mod Borders Stamp Set in MFT Ink in Lemon Drop and Grape Jelly.

Here I colored my flowers with Copic Markers, stamped the leaves in Sour Apple Ink, and stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice Ink.

I created the pattern on the tag with another stamp from the LLD Border It - Mod Borders Stamp Set using MFT Ink Blu Raspberry. I used the Oval STAX Die-namics 1 and 2 to cut out the sentiment.

On this tag I used the solid stamps in the set and stamped flowers in MFT Ink in Electric Red and Lemon Drop. The leaves are cut from MFT Felt in Jelly Bean Green. The sentiment is cut out with one of the fishtails in the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX.

Using another stamp from the LLD Border It - Mod Borders Stamp Set I created the background.

And on the last tag I colored the flowers and leaves with Copic Markers. The sentiment is mounted on smaller doily in the Dainty Doily Duo Die-namics.

Here the background is created with the LJD Darling Dots stamp set, with white ink, on Kraft Card Stock.

For my second project I am using the new Pure Innocence Little Gardener. I used the LJD Darling Dots stamp set to create the background.

I added the sun with the Die-namics Sunshine and Card Stock in Banana Split and added a button. The sentiment from the stamp set is stamped in Wild Cherry Ink and cut out with one of the tabs in the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome.

She is colored with Copic Markers and I added the grass with Prism Colored Pencils.

I created this cute embellishment with three different Die-namics, Picket Fence, Die-namics Grassy Edges, and the flowers from the Die-namics Trellis and Vine. I added Viva Pearls to the center of the flowers.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for lots more inspiration.
