It's PI Teaser Day!

Today is Pure Innocence Teaser day! We have three new PI this month, Super Boy, Honey Bee, and Princess. Stop by Kim's blog at 11:00 EST time for the list of designers sharing projects today.

I am using the Princess PI today! When I saw this cute little princess I thought, "I made that costume!" When my girls were young I made all the Halloween Costumes. Well, I dug through my photos and I found one of Kayley in the costume. Kayley is away at college but I know I will send her a Halloween Treat and I am very excited about the card I made to send her!

To frame my photo I cut an oval in my purple cardstock and then a larger oval in the DP. I tied on a bow and added chipboard letters, colored black, to say "boo".

The princess is colored with Copics and I used a glitter pen and silver Glitzy Glitter on the hat.

And notice my new Die-namics Perfect Bracket Edge! I just love it!

On the inside I used the bracket die again. For my sentiment, "You're still my" is computer generated. Beautiful Princess in included in the PI Princess set and Happy Haunting is in the new Tiny Town Halloween set. Yes, the sentiment is a little sappy, I know it will make Kayley smile!

I hope you will join us at the release party on Wednesday night at 8:00 EST.

Little Engineer

It is Day 2 of MFTeaser! Today's previews include Fred Bear Goes Fishing, Emma Playing Mommy, and Wyatt the Conductor. Stop by Kim's blog at 11:00 EST time for the list of designers sharing projects today.

My card uses Wyatt the Conductor. I don't make enough boy cards so I am happy to have a cute new male stamp to add to my stash!

He is colored with Copics and his scarf is paper pieced. The cute train image is also included in the set. I used the Bling 'Bers stamp set for the sentiment and the number 4.

And notice that cute star border!! It is a new Die-namics Die Cut that will release on Wednesday night.

On the inside I stamped Wyatt in black ink and added the star border again. I used two sets for the sentiment. The "Happy Birthday" is from the PI set Birthday Princess and "Little Engineer" if included in the Wyatt set.

I hope you will join us at the release party on Wednesday night at 8:00 EST.

September MFTeasers Begin Today!

Wow, is it really is the end of August! I don't know about you, but this summer flew by. The kids in our area have started back to school and my girls are settled back at their colleges. The good news! It is time for MFT'S September previews. Be sure to stop by Kim's blog at 11:00 am EST for the list of designers sharing projects today.

Today's previews include Tiny Town Halloween, Clearly Sentimental About Harvesting, and Wendy Uppercase Alphabet.

For my project I am working with Tiny Town Halloween, the Wendy Uppercase Alphabet, and a cute new Die-namic Banner die cut.

When my girls were little we just loved Halloween. I made them all costumes! This scrapbook page is of my daughter Lisa, she was in the third grade, and she made a pretty cute witch! I used the new Die-namics banner die, Rounded Banner Trio, and stamped my letters with the new Wendy Uppercase Alphabet. And then I created my little scene at the bottom of the page with the Tiny Town Halloween set.

I stamped "BOO" and strung the banner on twine. The sentiment on the cloud is from the Halloween set.

I used the Die-namics Cloud Trio Die and the witch is included in the Halloween set.

This set is just great for scene building. It has three cute little house, some trick or treaters, and a fence stamp. The trees are created with the Sheltering Tree and Leaf Trio.

Be sure to leave comments on the designers blog today. Kim is giving away stamps each day of teasers and you can stop by her blog to see who the winners are.

MFT August Blog Hop and Shop

Welcome to MFT'S August Blog Hop and Shop. If you came here from Susan's Blog you are in the right place. If you want to start at the beginning of the blog go on over to Kim's Blog.

My cards today are made with this month's Triple Scoop Special, Clearly Sentimental About Harvesting. Simply purchase 3 full sized sets ($15.95 or higher) and receive a FREE set from MFT.

I stamped one of my favorite sentiments from the set, using it in combination with the Framed Greetings die and stamp set. I added a graphic I had in my stash, some stitching, lace, ribbon, and a button I have been hoarding for ages!

I wanted to keep the inside simple so that I could use the card for a number of occasions. The black border is made with the new Die-namics Small Scallops Border Die.

For my second card I used the new Die-namics Sheltering Tree and Leaf Trio. I cut and embossed the tree using Kraft cardstock and then I sponged on distressing ink. Then I added the leaves to my tree. I made a hill from my DP and added stitching, lace, ribbon, and a pearl.

I used another sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Harvesting Set, again combined with the Framed Greeting Set.

On the inside I stamped the tree with the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set and add another hill out of DP.

Now it is time to hop on over to the next blog on the HOP! She is this month's Guest Designer, and I have to say one of the sweetest, funniest, and supportive stamper I know, KELLI JO!

Thanks,
Melody

A Berry Sweet Gift Bag

Today is the final day for MFT's August Teasers. Today the previews include Who's That Harvesting Girl, Garden Goodness, and Clearly Sentimental about Harvest. Stop by Kim's Blog at 11:00 EST for the full list of designers sharing projects today.

And don't forget to join us at the release party tonight in the MFT Forum at Splitcoaststampers at 8:00 pm EST.

For my project I used Who's that Harvesting Girl to make a gift bag to hold a thank you gift I wanted to give a friend.

I covered a brown kraft gift bag with paper from October Afternoon. I used the Die-namic Jumbo Scallop Die for the bottom border and added a ruffle with the ribbon for the Ruffled Ribbon Collection. I also stitched around the edges.

I used a Maya Road canvas tag to make the tag I wanted to add to the bag. The image is colored with Copics. The Copics work great on fabric, you can even do some shading. You just need to be careful not to color to close to the edge of the image, as the color does bleed out a little.

I used a sentiment from the set along with the Framed Greeting die cut and stamp set.

And don't forget:

Each day, there is at least one new stamp set being given away on a designer's blog. To be eligible to win, you'll need to have commented on that designer's blog for that particular day. For your best chance to win, leave a comment on all the designers blog. You can check Kim's blog to see the winners.

Thanks for coming by. I hope to see you at the release party tonight. There will be prizes!

A Cupcake Card

It's Day 4 and previews today include Jolinne - Sprinkles on Top and a new line of stamps called Flapper Doodle. Stop by Kim's blog at 11:00 am EST for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

I am using Jolinne - Sprinkles on Top for my card! I think she is just so adorable! I am also using a template for a cupcake card that will also be released on Wednesday night.

She is colored with Copics. I cut her out with my nestibilities leaving her feet hanging out. I used my Scor-Pal to make the lines on my cupcake liner, and then added ribbon and lace.

To add sparkle to her cupcake I added brown glitter with a glue pen and rhinestones that I colored to match with my Copics. I also added additional rhinestone to the cupcake top.

On the inside I stamped one of the cute sentiments from the set.

Here is some important information for this week:
