Valentine Love SC213

I very seldom get to do the challenges on Splitcoast on the day of the challenge. I work full time and usually just have time to browse the challenge gallery each day. But last night I decided to stay up late and give it a whirl! So this is today sketch challenge.

This card will go to one my daughters who is away at college for Valentine's Day. The stamp is from Impression Obsession and the sentiment is American Art Stamp. I bought them both at the cutest little stamp store in my area, Cat's Craft Cupboard. If you live in North San Diego County you should stop by. Cat also has an on-line store. I used copics to color the image, added a little glitter pen to the flowers, and stickles to the dots on the pots. The lace is from my stash and the heart ribbon I picked up at Michaels along with a K&Company paper pad that used.

Thanks for looking!

A Voilet Cupcake

This is my new little Lockhart stamp. The sketch is Taylor's Friday sketch. Taylor is celebrating a year of cupcake challenges. I know I have looked forward to her sketches each weekend! The brads are Su and I and added rhinestone brads to the middle. The paper is Basic Grey. I sponges the edges of the oval and border.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Housewarming

This is my new and first Lizzie Anne Designs stamp set. I love it! And this is just one of the houses. The sketch is Jen del Muro's SFYTT. The DP is my favorite Cosmo Crickett. The house is colored with copics and the roof is pieced. I used my nestibilities. The charm is from my stash and the ribbon is SU Riding Hood Red. The pearl hearts are Hero Arts. I used my sewing machine for the stitching.

With Love

Taylor is celebrating a year of cupcake sketch at Taylor's Expressions. This card is based on Ana Wohlfahrt's sketch for the celebration. I used my new Whiff of Joy stamp for a card for my niece for Valentine's Day. The sentiment is from American Art Stamp. I added lace, flowers, and heart rhinestone to make it very femimine. The DP is a Basic Grey that I love. It is colored with copics and distressed with Tim Holtz tea dye distressing ink. The lace is from my local scrapbooking store.

MFT Tote

This darling tote was made with the instructions on the "How do they do that" MFT forum on splitcoast. It is very easy to put together and can be used in so many different ways. Mine is going to a friend with her favorite candy and a gift card to our local scrapbooking store. The paper is Basic Gray, such a cute pattern!

Made with Love

This is my first Valentine card for the year. With the holiday over it is nice to work with some new colors. This is my new stamp from American Art Stamps. It is nice because you can use it for Valentines but for other occasions too. The sketch is Jen del Muro's weekend sketch. I used my cuttlebug heart embossing folder, add some heart shaped buttons, a large eyelet and some rhinestones. The image is colored with copics.

You've Got Mail

I love My Favorite Things stamps. You wills see me post "Who's That Girl" images frequently. This is my first time I have used "Who's That E-Girls" but I can tell she will be a favorite. I used the weeks MFT sketch challenge. I inked up my embossing folder before running it through my cuttlebug. The wallpaper and skirt are pieced. I love this paper! Making Memories is doing a 6x6 pad now. I just picked this up at Michaels. If you are a fan of pink and black you will love it.! I used my copics, a glitter pen on the laptop, and rhinestones for a little bling.

Warm Birthday Wishes

This is my card I made from Jen del Muro's weekend sketch challenge. This is one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps I ordered from Funky Kits. I used my Cuttlebug for the background and ran my SU Bordering Blue ink spot across the paper. I colored the image with Copic markers and added pink glitter to the present. The snowflakes are SU and the sentiment is computer generate.

My First Post

I have scrapbooked for at least 12 years. About a year ago I discovered SplitcoastStampers and go hooked on cardmarking, challenges, and reading blogs. One of my New Year's resolutions was to start my own blog so that I could participate in the blogging community. So here it goes!
